We had a litter of six puppies in early May, three males and three females. I'm happy to tell you more about them, if you contact me by email.

My JRT breeding has taken a turn into a new, interesting direction. I and some breeder friends have started a project to increase the genetic diversity of the breed. Read more at

We work together to maintain the vitality, health and temperament of the breed. We also collect data on a wide variety of subjects for research.
We've chosen dogs for the project that are as little related to each other as possible and who've got as few relatives as possible in the common lines in Finland (and Europe as well as Australia). Even though the breed is large in numbers, the gene pool is actually quite small, so there is a real need to find new blood. We've found several dogs, especially in Britain, that are completely new here. They've been assessed by two breed judges here and registered in the Finnish Kennel Club registry.

You're very welcome to visit the project website where we explain in greater detail what the project is all about.
