The Jack Russell Terrier "Salli" (Payingold White Queen) and her six week old puppies are also part of our canine family at the moment. The dams of the litters are good friends and so are their puppies. Salli the Jack Russell nurses the Fox Terrier puppies now and then, and Eve the Fox Terrier nurses the JRT puppies. Most of their time is spent in private with their own puppies, but every now and then the dams and puppies play. Please note that these two dams are extremely good friends and very easygoing about their puppies. It's not advisable to try this without being absolutely certain that there will be no aggression on either part. Even in these cases, the puppies should be kept alone with their dam for the first three weeks, without any disturbance from other dogs.
